Two fabulous alumni events, one fabulous weekend!

Celebration Party/Alumni Dinner
Saturday May 28, 6:30pm
5151 North Van Ness Boulevard, Fresno, CA

Here's a wonderful opportunity to meet alums and current famlies--anyone who has been associated with the Youth Orchestras from any and all times during the six decades the orchestras have been in operation.

The dinner will follow all-day rehearsals at Fresno State. Guests should plan to arrive at 6:30pm at 5151 N Van Ness, just north of West Shaw Avenue in Fresno.

Sixtieth Anniversary Celebration Concert
Sunday May 29, 7:00pm
William Saroyan Theatre, 700 M Street, Fresno, CA

This is it! The biggest party of the year! Of the decade! Of the past six decades!

It's our celebration of sixty years of youth music in the Central Valley. Alums from throughout the sixty years are planning to attend--and many of them will also perform as part of the Symphonie Fantastique mega-orchestra. Please join us!

Music Director Thomas Loewenheim conducts all three YOOF orchestras in a program that includes the Sibelius tone poem Finlandia, Gershwin's An American in Paris, and the world premiere of Kenneth Froelich's celebratory Jubilation Fanfare. And of course a number of alumni musicians will join the Youth Philharmonic for the Berlioz.

Enjoy the music and the glamor--and stay for the reception and our astounding Painted Violin Auction.
